Standing in fronT of his home brewing set-up, Dean Domec, 49, of Orange County, holds up a bottle of his winning home-brewed beer Thursday afternoon in his garage North of Vidor. The three year-old beer, a clone of a beer called "EKU 28", won first place in the Eis Bock category of the National Homebrew Competition.
