Gas Fire
Flames from a ruptured four-inch natural gas line lick the underside of the Southbound US Highway 69 overpass at Spurlock Road in Nederland Wednesday afternoon as firefighters from Nederland and Groves spray water on the concrete overpass to keep it cool and minimize damage to the bridge as the gas burns out of the line. A construction worker using a tractor,which can be seen burning at the base of the flames, ruptured the four-inch natural gas line.
